Seer is an AI-powered travel guide that uses your camera and internet connection to provide instant information, translation and recommendations.

We aim to respond within 48 hours…. but maybe travelling and it could be slower …. 🙂
Seer relies on a live internet connection to send image data to our AI systems and return results in real time.
For best performance:
Use a stable Wi-Fi or strong 4G/5G connection
Avoid heavily congested networks
Ensure your signal strength is good before scanning
In very crowded locations — such as busy museums, large events, stadiums or tourist hotspots — mobile networks can become overloaded. If your connection is slow or unstable, scans may time out or fail.
This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the app.
If this happens:
Take a photo using your device, Move to a location with stronger internet, Re-scan or upload the image when your connection improves
Seer requires sufficient bandwidth to process images and return AI responses quickly.
Point your camera at a landmark, monument, plant, insect, menu or product and tap scan to receive information and history.
Use the camera to capture visible text. Seer will detect and translate supported languages automatically. In the settings section you can edit your laungage and currency so that it will automatically provide prices in your currency.
Enable location services to discover nearby bars and venues. The app used geo location and visual references to help provide details. – it also links into google maps and reviews to help give detail. Seer provides detailed recommendations and insights based on your travel profile.
Select your travel type in settings to receive highlights and recommendations shared by travellers with similar interests when you are nearby. When you find something cool then share the love and let others know.
Tap the audio button to listen to information instead of reading. Multiple languages and voice options are available, these can be updated in settings.
Seer includes optimised pre-built prompts for different subjects.
You may customise response style and depth in Settings if you prefer shorter, more detailed or differently structured results. Go to the settings area and then yoou can edit the settings for each catagory – you may want to know a specific thing about a catagory – you can add it in your own custom prompt.
Check your internet connection
Ensure camera permissions are enabled
Make sure the subject is well lit and clearly visible
Ensure the full text is visible
Avoid glare or shadows
Try scanning again in better lighting
Enable Location Services for Seer in your device settings
Ensure your GPS signal is active
Seer processes images and text securely using encrypted connections.
