This Policy is a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you” or “your”) and Seer (“we”, “us” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App and Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App or Services.
This Policy applies only to the Seer App and Services and does not apply to third-party services, apps, or websites that may be linked from or integrated with the App.
We collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate, improve, and provide the Seer App and its core functionality.
Depending on how you use the App, you may voluntarily provide:
Photos or images taken or uploaded through the App
Text inputs, descriptions, or prompts associated with photos
Optional feedback, messages, or support requests
Basic account or device-related identifiers where required for functionality
A core feature of Seer involves users taking or uploading photos to receive contextual information or insights. When you upload a photo:
The photo may be processed by our systems to analyse visual content and generate responses
The photo may be stored securely for product improvement, moderation, and feature functionality
The photo will not be used to identify you personally
If photos or derived insights are shared with other users within the App, this is done solely to help other users, improve collective understanding, or enhance the experience. Your identity, account details, device identifiers, or any personal information will not be revealed, and photos are shared in an anonymised or non-attributable manner.
We do not use uploaded photos for advertising, facial recognition, or identity profiling.
When you use the App, we may automatically collect limited technical information such as:
Device type, operating system, and app version
General usage data (features used, session duration, error logs)
Approximate location (e.g. country or region), if enabled by your device
This information is used strictly for:
Operating and maintaining the App
Diagnosing technical issues
Improving performance, accuracy, and usability
We do not use this data to personally identify you.
The Seer App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 18.
If you believe that a child under 18 has provided Personal Information through the App, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.
We act as a data controller for Personal Information collected through the App unless otherwise stated.
We may use collected information to:
Operate and deliver the App’s core features
Process photos and inputs to generate responses
Improve accuracy, performance, and user experience
Respond to enquiries and provide support
Monitor usage patterns and prevent misuse or abuse
Comply with legal obligations
Processing of Personal Information is carried out based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

Performance of a contract (providing the App and Services)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your Personal Information.

With other users: anonymised photos or insights may be shared within the App to help others, without revealing the identity of the person who took or uploaded the photo
With service providers: trusted third-party providers who assist with hosting, analytics, infrastructure, or technical operations, under strict confidentiality obligations
Legal requirements: where required by law, regulation, court order, or governmental request
All service providers are authorised to use information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes.

Photos and related data may be deleted or anonymised once they are no longer required for operational or improvement purposes.
We may use privacy-focused analytics tools to understand how the App is used. These tools collect aggregated and non-identifying data and do not track individual users across apps or services.
The App may contain links to third-party services or content. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before engaging with them.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect Personal Information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that data transmitted over the internet or mobile networks may carry inherent risks beyond our control.
In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights or freedoms, we will take appropriate action, including notification where required by applicable law.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date below. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
By using the Seer App and Services, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the App.
