SEER – TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Seer mobile application, website and related services (collectively, the “App”).

By downloading, accessing or using Seer, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Nature of the Service

Seer is an AI-powered travel discovery and location-based recommendation platform.

The App may provide:

  • Location information
  • Travel suggestions
  • Reviews and user-generated content
  • AI-generated summaries
  • Data sourced from third parties (including mapping providers)
  • Curated lists and travel inspiration content

Seer is an informational tool only. It does not provide travel, legal, safety, medical, financial or professional advice.

2. No Guarantee of Accuracy

The App includes content generated by:

  • Artificial intelligence systems
  • Third-party data providers (including Google Maps and similar services)
  • Other users
  • Publicly available information

We do not independently verify all content.

Accordingly:

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability or timeliness of any information.
  • Information may be outdated, incomplete, incorrect or misleading.
  • Locations may close, change ownership, change pricing or alter operating hours without notice.
  • AI-generated outputs may contain errors or “hallucinations.”

You acknowledge that you use all information at your own risk.

3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates or may rely upon third-party services including, but not limited to:

  • Mapping providers
  • Location databases
  • AI providers
  • App Store / Google Play billing systems

We are not responsible for:

  • The availability of third-party services
  • Their accuracy
  • Their data practices
  • Any loss arising from their downtime or errors

Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms.

4. No Uptime or Availability Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be available at all times
  • The App will be uninterrupted
  • The App will be error-free
  • Bugs will be corrected immediately
  • The App will be secure from hacking or interference

We may suspend, withdraw, modify or discontinue any part of the App at any time without notice.

You agree that temporary or permanent service interruption shall not give rise to any claim.

5. User Accounts & Security

If you create an account:

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Not share your account
  • Notify us of unauthorised access immediately

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We are not liable for:

  • Loss caused by compromised passwords
  • Hacking or unauthorised access beyond our reasonable control
  • Data loss caused by user error

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

6. User-Generated Content

Users may submit reviews, comments, photos or other content (“User Content”).

By submitting User Content, you:

  • Confirm you have the right to post it
  • Grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display it
  • Accept that we may remove or moderate content at our discretion

We are not responsible for:

  • The accuracy of User Content
  • Offensive, defamatory or misleading content posted by users
  • Any reliance placed on user-generated information

You agree not to post unlawful, defamatory, harmful or misleading content.

7. Travel & Safety Disclaimer

Seer provides informational content only.

We do not: Guarantee the safety of any location, Verify safety conditions, Monitor crime, political risk or health risks, Provide emergency services, Before visiting any location, 

 

you are responsible for:, Conducting your own researchChecking official travel advisories, Assessing personal safety risks, Obtaining appropriate insurance, You assume full responsibility for your travel decisions.

  • We are not liable for:
  • Personal injury
  • Property damage
  • Theft
  • Loss
  • Travel disruption
  • Acts of third parties
  • Acts of nature
  • Political events
  • Health events
  • Travel involves inherent risk.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

Certain features may require a paid subscription.

Payments are processed through:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

We do not store your payment details.

Subscription terms:

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You must manage cancellations via your App Store account
  • Refunds are subject to the relevant platform’s policies
  • Pricing may change with notice

We are not responsible for billing errors caused by third-party app stores.

9. Data Collection & Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

We may collect:

  • Account information
  • Usage data
  • Device data
  • Location data (if enabled)
  • Uploaded images
  • Interaction history

We implement reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.

By using the App, you acknowledge:

  • No digital platform is 100% secure
  • Data transmission over the internet carries inherent risk

10. Intellectual Property

All App content, branding, logos, design, software and AI outputs (excluding User Content and third-party content) are owned by or licensed to Seer.

You may not:

  • Copy
  • Modify
  • Reverse engineer
  • Redistribute
  • Commercially exploit

Any unauthorised use is prohibited.

11. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App unlawfully
  • Scrape or extract data at scale
  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the App
  • Upload malicious code
  • Impersonate others
  • Abuse or harass other users
  • Use the App to compete with us

We may suspend accounts for violation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including:

  • Merchantability
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Accuracy
  • Non-infringement

We do not guarantee that the App will meet your expectations.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of business
  • Loss of data
  • Personal injury (except where prohibited by law)
  • Travel-related losses
  • Decisions made based on App information

Our total liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions may not allow certain exclusions; where required, liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, damage or expense arising from:

  • Your misuse of the App
  • Your User Content
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your travel decisions

15. Changes to the App or Terms

We may modify:

  • The App
  • Features
  • Pricing
  • These Terms

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access:

  • For breach of Terms
  • For misuse
  • At our discretion

You may stop using the App at any time.

Provisions relating to liability, indemnity and governing law survive termination.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

18. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder remains valid.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Seer regarding use of the App.
